TPC Sawgrass is a natural weekend golf destination, and private aviation makes the trip far easier to fit into a busy schedule. Instead of building the weekend around airline departure times, the flight can be built around the golf.

Why fly private to TPC Sawgrass

Jacksonville and Northeast Florida offer multiple aviation options. The best airport depends on the aircraft, operator, runway requirements and final ground destination, but private aviation gives the group more choices than a standard airline itinerary.

That can mean leaving Houston, Austin or Dallas in the morning, getting to the Jacksonville area with much of the day still available and departing after the final round instead of cutting it short for an airline schedule.

What Golf Digest says about the Stadium Course

Golf Digest ranks TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course No. 8 among America's 100 Greatest Public Courses and No. 41 among all U.S. courses for 2025-26. Its panel rates the course 4.6 out of 5. The magazine highlights Pete Dye's demanding target-golf design and the famous island-green 17th, a hole that has inspired more than a hundred imitations.

That combination of tournament history, recognizable holes and public access is why golfers travel from across the country to play it.

More of the weekend belongs to you

Republic Aviation can compare aircraft with the baggage space for golf clubs, the range for the route and the schedule flexibility the group needs. Charter flights are operated by properly certificated operators.
